Passionate about music since birth, three-year-old Aidan had his parents tune his ukulele like a bass after watching a video of Paul McCartney. Since then he’s never looked back - playing in bands since the age of eleven, he’s toured extensively all over the United States playing venues and festival stages from Alaska to Chicago and beyond. When he’s not playing live he enjoys making records, having tracked at legendary studios including Eric Valentines’ Barefoot Studios in LA, Prairie Sun Studios in Cotati, 25th Street Studios in Oakland, as well as Space Camp (owned by Widespread Panic’s Dave Schools) and Tim Bluhm’s (The Mother Hips) Forrest Power Studio in Fairfax, California. 

Now based out of Santa Cruz, California, for the last ten years Aidan has been a touring and recording member of Santa Cruz-based rock outfit The Coffis Brothers, where he has had the opportunity to share the stage with the likes of many talented artists including Tim Bluhm, Jackie Greene, John Craigie, Nina Gerber, Mike Viola and many more. 

When he’s not playing other people’s music Aidan writes and records songs under the moniker A. C. Smith, with his debut EP coming out later this year.
